Despoina Charalampous joins IforPE as the newest expert instructor
Despoina is a Senior Regulatory Compliance Associate at SALVUS Funds, a boutique advisory in Europe, and holds over 4 years of experience as a top compliance professional. Throughout her tenure at SALVUS thus far, Despoina has been involved in several regulatory compliance projects, delivering for clients diligently with an eye for detail. Hence, she has developed a unique set of skills and her expertise has developed into a passion to teach and educate professionals working at Cyprus Investment Firms (CIF) and other CySEC regulated entities.
Furthermore, Despoina is also a Certified Person of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) holding both the CySEC Advanced and CySEC AML certifications.
Since joining the Institute, Despoina has delivered her first course – Review of Regulatory Updates and CySEC Circulars for Q2 2023.
The course is an online self-study CPD course that guides AML compliance officers, risk managers, and other professionals working at CySEC regulated entities through all the CySEC Circulars issues in the second quarter of 2023. In addition, Despoina’s course also examines in detail Circulars C576 & C578 that delivers information on the remuneration requirements and the collection of remuneration data.
Upon the successful completion of the course, professionals will be awarded with a certificate of completion granting 2 CPD units counting toward their annual CPD requirements.
