Obtaining the CySEC Advanced certification in 2022

For several years now, the CySEC Advanced certification has been regarded as the most challenging yet complete qualification for professionals working in investment services in Cyprus. CySEC (the Cyprus Securities and Exchange commission) regulates the investment services industry in Cyprus with the purpose of providing an investment-friendly jurisdiction for foreign investors and entrepreneurs alike.

The Cypriot regulator currently offers three certifications: The CySEC Advanced, Basic and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certifications. Each of these certifications enables professionals to demonstrate their understanding via multiple choice exams that upon passing, qualifies professionals as certified members in CySEC’s Public Register. Since the CySEC Advanced certification is regarded as the number one accreditation in financial services within Cyprus, it is associated with several career benefits.
